Co-assessed for Corning's Life Sciences Sector an innovative biotech enterprise, Corning BioPro, that provided notable facilities management (aka Outsourcing), employing off-balance sheet sale-leaseback of very costly equipment, based upon a notion to market production capabilities to biotech companies with limited funds to build their own infrastructure. We were subsequently engaged to quality assure this venture. We actively asserted a new strategy of trilateral strategic relations that drew 2 major pharmaceuticals producers' capital into supporting arrangements incorporating the venture with pilot production facility and early production facility for a biotech company. 2 multi-lateral arrangements presented and executed included Lilly/Seragen/Corning BioPro and Rhône-Poulenc Rorer/GenCell/ Corning BioPro.
