Siemens: Matsushita
Co-represented Siemens in pursuit of an operating partnership to selectively enhance growth and target profit contribution. Ongoing cost of Product Development also was a focus. Asia-Pacific and North America were of particular geographic interest. This joint venture was developed with advance expectation to explore an IPO to leverage joint positive reputations and harvest capital support. The JV was ultimately labeled EPCOS for listing on the NYSE and Frankfurt exchanges.
