Assisted the Managing Director of this multi-corporation technology consortium expand its scope & depth from the initial nine (9) members to 23 companies. This expanson also enabled a stronger weave of technology incorporating the UNIX-based operating platform and evolution of data communications toward increasing client/server flexibility. A critical dimension which years later proved prescient, was the intent to sustain mainframe data center linkages. The ever increasing challenge of divergent end-user platforms, ranging from powerful intelligent workstations to "read-only" devices and portable computing, was addressed by many of the partner companies solicitied into the consortium.
